Dads That Do · Event volunteer opportunity

Show up.
Follow through.
Father our community.

Dads That Do invites dads and father figures to bring a steady, caring presence to scheduled YES events. You do not have to be a biological father to make a difference. Bring your time, your encouragement, and your willingness to be someone young people can count on.

Fathering our community means listening, lending a hand, modeling respect, and helping young people feel seen, supported, and connected.

Complete the Google Form to share your interests and availability. About 5 minutes · opens in a new tab. Questions? Email joinourteam@yesgb.org.

01 / WELCOME

Be a positive presence.

Greet young people and families, offer encouragement, and help participants feel included.

02 / LEND A HAND

Help the event flow.

Assist with setup, check-in, activities, and cleanup in a role coordinated with the YES event lead.

03 / MODEL & MENTOR

Lead through example.

Listen, model respectful communication and accountability, and support positive interactions during event activities.

Your next step

Share your availability, the event you are interested in, and how you would like to help. Before serving, YES will confirm the role, event instructions, and any orientation or screening requirements. Volunteers work alongside the event team; signing up does not confirm a shift.

Be part of the day

There’s more than
one way to show up.

Bring your friends, family, or coworkers and book your bowling package on Zeffy. Businesses and community members can sponsor a lane on Zeffy or contact YES about other ways to support the fundraiser. Dads and father figures can explore Dads That Do to volunteer at YES events.
