Youth Empowerment Summit

Leadership grounded
in connection.

Damien Doran, known professionally as Mr. Green Bay, is the Executive Director of Youth Empowerment Summit (YES), a speaker, author, youth mentor, and community advocate based in Green Bay, Wisconsin. He brings storytelling, practical life skills, and relationship-centered leadership together to help young people build confidence, make thoughtful choices, and recognize their capacity to lead.

As the author of Cash Out Never Crash Out and creator of the Crash Proof companion framework, Damien connects self-awareness, emotional regulation, accountability, and purpose with everyday decisions. His work also includes Make My Story Matter, using reflection and storytelling to help participants find their voice and consider the future they want to build.

His community work spans mentorship, youth-development workshops, violence-prevention efforts, and projects that encourage positive relationships and meaningful service. Through YES, Damien works to connect youth, families, educators, and community partners around opportunities for learning, belonging, and leadership.

Damien holds an honorary Doctor of Community Leadership from Upper Room Theological University. His approach centers on listening, personal responsibility, resilience, and the belief that people can turn difficult experiences into purposeful action.

Turning pain
into purpose.

Damien’s approach connects personal reflection with practical growth: understanding yourself, taking ownership of your choices, and recognizing what you can contribute.

His themes include self-awareness, accountability, resilience, and leadership—inviting young people to consider both who they are and who they want to become.
